SCHOOL MEAL INFORMATION 2021-2022 

FREE MEALS FOR ENROLLED STUDENTS

School breakfast and lunch are free for all students at all school during the 2021-22 school year.  The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has continued its nationwide pandemic waivers allowing school food service departments to continue to serve healthy school meal options to all enrolled students for free.

What makes a Meal? 

·        Ferndale School District follows strict USDA meal pattern requirements, to ensure all students are receiving healthy, well-balanced meals.

·        Breakfast includes:  Breakfast entrée, fruit, juice, and milk

·        Lunch includes:  Meat (or meat alternative), grains, milk, fruits, and vegetables

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
